TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
